Meet Our Instructors

The trained fitness instructors at Peachy Fitness have years of combined experience teaching yoga, Zumba and other classes. This offers our clients a fresh new approach when experiencing our classes for the first time, as well as providing security in knowing what you will get once you find the right instructor. Regardless though, each instructor has their specific area of expertise and will provide a fun and rejuvenating program – As one of our instructors put it, each instructor is like a snowflake in that no two are alike!

Be sure to check out the profiles of our instructors.

Allison Franck: Zumba instructorAllison Franck: Zumba instructor

Hi, I’m Allison Franck and I love teaching Zumba classes in Ann Arbor! I danced in high school and was involved in my college hip hop club. After graduation, I still had the urge to dance… and Zumba was my answer! I have been teaching since November 2011 and have loved every class. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you’ll see what I mean. You don’t even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It’s easy! Come try it, I guarantee you will have a blast – I look forward to meeting you!

Alexandra Henderson: Kids Yoga Instructor

Alexandra Henderson: Kids Yoga Instructor

Since she was young, Alexandra Henderson has enjoyed an active lifestyle. Due to an injury in high school, she lost a lot of her athletic ability. She spent years in physical therapy trying to regain her previous strength and movement, but to no avail. In an attempt to remedy her damaged hip, she began hoop dancing, and it worked wonders. Not only was hoop dancing physically therapeutic, it also exposed her to a new community that relished in the flows of the body. Hoop dancing incorporated many different forms of movement, including yoga, tribal dance and jazz, and Alex fell in love with the awareness and ability hoop dancing gave her. Shortly after, she began practicing aerial acrobatics, which again blended yoga, dance and strength. Through these practices, Alex was introduced to the world of yoga. After practicing for about two years, Alex decided to take her practice one step further and become a certified instructor. She attended and was certified through East Lansing Hot Yoga, RYS200, in East Lansing, MI. Her training was unique and diverse, exploring a multitude of styles and practices. Recently, Alex moved to Ypsilanti and is excited to be teaching yoga to kids! While she was receiving her yoga certification, she worked as a nanny and is very happy to incorporate her love for kids into her teaching. Namaste!

Kayleigh Zupi: Yoga InstructorKayleigh-Zupi: Yoga Instructor

Michigander Kayleigh Zupi Completed her 200 hour RYT Teacher Training in February of 2014 under the supervision of Kimberly Jacks at Yogacentric studio in Saline, MI. Across several months Kayleigh was immersed in the world of yoga, learning the short-form ashtanga series, vinyasa, slow flow, and yin yoga; as well as deepening her spiritual practice with meditation and living a karmic lifestyle. Kayleigh is truly grateful for the opportunity she grabbed to learn and grow, which has helped her listen to her body, mind, and soul so she can, in turn, help others with theirs!

Kayleigh came to know yoga from library DVD’s and Rec Center classes, but the flame was fanned when she first took a class at the Center for Yoga with Kelli Harrington. Feeling such a zest for life, Kayleigh kept up with her practice until she found out she was pregnant. After suffering a miscarriage a few months later, Kayleigh returned to the mat hoping to find solace with more restorative classes – intending to take care of her soul. Not surprisingly, yoga helped slowly heal her wounds, causing endorphins to soar and her body to change! In the next year, Kayleigh hopes to take another RYT course for prenatal yoga because she enjoys helping women find relaxation and feeling at peace with their bodies in such a transformative time of their life.

Emily Kaspari: Yoga InstructorEmily Kaspari Yoga Instructor

Emily began exploring yoga about a decade ago as a means to increase strength and flexibility before dance rehearsals and has been hooked ever since. She loves how yoga’s focus of moving with the breath helps her mind calm down and enables her to appreciate the present moment. In 2010 Emily experienced a debilitating car accident and over the process of a year was able to fully recover with yoga-based physical therapy learning first hand how healing a yoga practice can be. She has studied Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Restorative yoga, and stress-reduction techniques that she combines to create playful, invigorating and then relaxing classes.
