Yesterday, Peachy Fitness participated in Touch-A-Truck, a free community event hosted by Washtenaw Success by 6 at the Ypsilanti Community High School parking lot. Zaini and Liza provided an entertainment table with music and dance activities for kids and families. We had many little hands waving, feet hopping, hips swinging, and faces smiling by our tent!
Thanks to Washtenaw Success by 6 for organizing such a wonderful event, and to all the families who came out to participate! So many organizations volunteered their time and resources for this event. There were tables with a treats and crafts for kids, educational resources for parents, and of course lots of cars for kids to touch and climb into: trucks, police cars, buses, ambulances, tractors, etc. We are all lucky to have such a strong community who made this a special day full of fun and exploration. We hope to participate again next year!
